Wouldn't it be neat if we had everyone we wanted exactly how we wanted them?
But wouldn't it be boring?
To know exactly what we loved about someone
What drove us crazy about them
What made them so irresistible...
I think mystery is integral in any love story
A little tension
A lot of passion...
A little dislike
A necessary evil
Like the rain before the rainbow
The calm before the storm
The emotional hurricanes
The butterflies...Oh the butterflies
And then finally the kiss, that changes everything
That makes it or breaks it....
What I really miss is the innocence of it all
The readiness to give yourself up to this person you barely know
Just because of that wonderful feeling they are able to generate in your chest
That mini heart attack when u see a text from them
If only it was all so easy
If only it was always worth it...
