I'd promise you my heart in a heart's beat
And you'd loose me in lesser time
The truth is, we belong to no one, not by choice anyway
I think the idea of true love is biased
The most choice you can make as a person is to be faithful to another
To let your soul follow theirs where ever they go
To readily accept their imperfections and choose to love them even when they don't love themselves
To let yourself be theirs to love and to cherish
I think that's the truest love could ever be,
The realest.
We've grown up believing so many untrue stories
The Cinderella and disney romances
Tales of perfection...
But love is much more than flowers and dinners
It's sincerity and affection,
Genuine care, more than just good intentions
More than words, it's our actions.
