Perfection

I wish people would understand that perfect isn't real
Perfect doesn't happen
The perfect lover
The perfect love story
Or the perfect person
The only reality is realizing that what you have with someone at any point in time is unique
Destructive maybe
Obsessive
Crazy
Lustful, Real or fake
It's unique and that's all we really get
A period of time with a special person who is never really ours but really wants us at that point in time
And if you're lucky, they'll want you forever, and you'll want them too, and as long as you're ready to embrace them with all their vices and defects, it's gonna be perfect enough for you to be truly happy.
